World waiting emergency, Trump vengeful, Republican lawmakers lack of respect

World waiting on Congress to understand emergency
People struggling here and around the world have been waiting for months for Congress to pass an emergency COVID-19 response bill. What is Congress not understanding about this emergency?
Projections are that global hunger will double, and thousands of infants will suffer or die of severe malnutrition. An estimated 80 million children are at risk of vaccine-preventable disease for lack of access to regular health services. AIDS, TB, and malaria cases and deaths are projected to rise to levels we haven’t seen in 10-20 years.
What can be more important for members of Congress right now than doing their job? I’m calling on our senators and representative to get creative, fight, prioritize, and not give up on passing an emergency COVID-19 package that includes at least $20 billion in funding for global health and nutrition to help those struggling in lower-income countries.

Trump’s vengeful delays will cost American lives
President Trump is a vengeful person. The delays he is now causing will cause the deaths of tens, hundreds and possibly thousands of Americans. It is ironic that those deaths will be equally spread among those who voted for him and those who did not.

Bozeman GOP lawmakers showing ignorance, lack of respect
To the state Republican legislative caucus, You were elected to serve the people of Montana. You attest to possessing a certain level of intelligence affording you the capability to lead our state. Yet, your recent behavior toward wearing masks and practicing social distancing only demonstrates your profound ignorance and lack of any respect and concern for the well-being and health of the people you represent, especially health care workers who are working tirelessly risking their own health to care for COVID/ non-COVID patients. Your behavior is shameful! Your arrogance and callous disregard are telling.
