Over the next few weeks, the Gallatin Democrats will prepare for the Montana Democratic State Convention, June 7-8. We will meet Wednesday, May 22 at the Bozeman Library (626 E Main St) from 6-7:30pm to read and discuss the Montana Democratic Platform. We will serve light refreshments.
If you wish to submit a Platform Amendment on Wednesday, please come prepared with the exact language of your amendment and reference the plank, page number(s), and the line number(s) to be changed in the platform.
During Wednesday’s meeting, we will also explain the process the County Committee follows to elect delegates to attend the State Convention, as well as the protocol to send delegates to the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
