On Thursday, April 25, please join the Gallatin Democrats for an information session on the Citizen Government Review initiative, which will appear on the June 7 Primary Election ballot. We will meet at the Bozeman Senior Center (807 N Tracy); potluck dinner at 5:30pm and the formal meeting starts at 6pm. Please note: April’s meeting is on a Thursday.
According to Montana law, citizens get the opportunity every 10 years to form a panel to review the structure of their local government (according to parameters in the Montana Constitution). Bozeman City Commissioner Joey Morrison and Gallatin County Commissioner Scott Macfarlane will be our guests to share information about this opportunity to reflect on how our governing bodies are functioning.
Learn more about the initiative before the meeting from the MSU Local Government Center.
