Eric Semerad’s Republican opponent, Greg Metzger, went so far as to declare that should Metzger win, he would need Eric to stay in the office to succeed.
Metzger said he was surprised that Mills offered an endorsement, but not surprised that she chose Semerad because of his experience. If elected, he said he hopes Semerad would stay in the office because he would need his help.
