On behalf of the South-Central Chapter of the Montana Association of Registered Land Surveyors (MARLS), we would like to formally endorse and voice our support for Eric Semerad’s election to the position of Gallatin County clerk and recorder/surveyor.
Eric has worked in the clerk and recorder’s office for 28 years, and for 10 of those years has been the chief deputy clerk and the recording department supervisor for 15. As professional land surveyors, the members of MARLS use the clerk and recorder’s office and services on a daily basis. Eric spearheaded the modernization of our public records, and the department has made most of the records available online, saving us and our clients, time and money.
